Brokers in Excellence is een netwerk van onafhankelijke
verzekeringsmakelaars in België, gericht op het behoud van
autonomie en identiteit. De leden werken samen om hun kennis te
delen en hun diensten te optimaliseren, met als resultaat betere
prestaties en een op maat gemaakte service voor elke klant.
Eind 2024 richten Filip Balcaen en Baltisse samen het nieuwe netwerk Brokers in Excellence op, als antwoord op de golf van fusies en overnames die de verzekeringsmakelaars overspoelt.
Steeds meer kleine en middelgrote verzekeringsmakelaars zetten hun zaak in de etalage omdat ze geen opvolger vinden of de sterk stijgende kosten, veroorzaakt door strengere regelgeving en digitalisering, niet kunnen dragen.
Deze situatie biedt grote spelers in de sector kansen om hun aanwezigheid uit te breiden. De afgelopen jaren zijn grote makelaarsbedrijven, al dan niet gesteund door nationale en buitenlandse investeerders, volop beginnen aankopen, waardoor het aantal transacties sterk is toegenomen. In deze context onderscheidt Brokers in Excellence (BiE) zich door zijn waarden. BiE werd opgericht door drie regionale makelaarskantoren: Sharp Insurance Brokers (Oudenarde), Huysman Verzekeringen (Eeklo) et Jean Crab & Ses Fils (Brussel). Sindsdien zijn al meerdere makelaars bij het initiatief aangesloten.
Brokers in Excellence wil een geloofwaardig alternatief zijn voor de traditionele consolidatiemodellen
Met een sterke ambitie: op termijn uitgroeien tot een van de toonaangevende spelers op de Belgische markt.
